Punctuate4 Production’s mission is to create a place where theater, conversations, and ideas come together to tell stories that matter.

Our vision is to contribute to a world where diverse ideas and conversations are shared, respected, and valued.

With a commitment to excellence, four professional women have created a production company dedicated to developing new works, new ideas and new ways of telling stories.

Our team of producers brings a depth and breadth of experience with decades spent in theater, nationally as well as internationally. They combine this passion with expertise in writing, design, branding, marketing, leadership, consulting, fundraising, and development of new works. On stage, in film, and behind the scenes, our team brings expertise and an innovative spirit to every production.

Myriam Cyr
president/Artistic Director

Cyr is an internationally renowned Actress, writer, Producer director. She produces across different mediums from the New York Comedy film festival, to executive producing the 2020 award-winning album Brûle sur me lèvres, to award-winning films and theater. Early in her career Cyr worked as a London correspondent for the CBC. She is the New Brunswick Canada Poet Laureate (2008), and the author of the critically acclaimed book Letters of a Portuguese Nun. Cyr has extensive theater experience in New York and London, including working opposite Al Pacino in Salome, opposite Gabriel Burnes in Gothic, and Janet Suzman in Vassa. She was part of the original cast of the Exonerated and Angels Punks and Raging Queens. She has been hailed across several mediums, directing Simon Says (Lynn Redgrave Theater) with Brian Murray hailed by the NY Times as “thrilling”. As artistic director of Punctuate4 Productions, Cyr produced, wrote and directed Saltonstall’s Trial, One Man’s Stand Against the Salem Witch Trials (Michael Cormier/ Myriam Cyr), Wilber’s War (Hale Bradt) No Victors, No Vanquished, (Paul Saba Esq). In 2020, Myriam directed The Battle Not Begun, by NPR On Point Analyst Jack Beatty (Boston Globe Critics’ Pick) a co-production of Gloucester Stage Company. Cyr is also a critically acclaimed, award-winning actress. Her performance of Salome in the National Theater production was named top 10 performance of the decade by Sydney Herald 2020. Her awards include Best Actress at the Huston Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Festival International du Film, Baie Comeau, Festival International du Cinema, Namur, Belgium, Festival of Cinema Greece. Her book Letters of a Portuguese Nun is translated into 8 languages and was chosen as book of the week by the London Guardian and Critic’s pick by the LA Times. She is a good will ambassador for her native province of New-Brunswick and received a commendation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for her contribution to the arts in 2021. She is the recipient of two Broadwayworld awards for best director including Reparations by James Sheldon that was produced at the Gloucester stage, and one nomination. She has recently finished shooting the lead role in the movie Pointe Noire directed by Pat Mire and written by Rebecca Hudsmith. A Cajun movie on the subject of death row. (2022)

Patricia Jamison
Co-Founder/Producer

Patricia Peterson Jamison began thespian life as a child in the attic of her home (Maple Street Players). From New Jersey to Vermont, Montreal, Switzerland, and Boston, she was constantly involved in theatre and music. Jamison obtained her undergraduate degrees in Switzerland (studying under Pascal Franchot Tone) and McGill University, and her Masters at the University of Vermont. Her early career saw her as Director of a Student Services office at an elite New England college, consulting for The College Board and numerous colleges and universities across the U.S. Jamison ran the Cultural Enrichment programs for a regional school district in Massachusetts and was a Founder of BlackBoxLab at Stage284. Jamison and her husband have owned several businesses with an emphasis on leadership development, educational consulting, entrepreneurship; and are partners in several award-winning restaurants in Boston. A soloist for many years in New England, decades on stage and behind the microphone, Jamison has now taken on producing theatrical shows, fundraising events, and serving as Casting and Development Director.

Catherine Stramer
vice President/Producer

Catherine Stramer has over 20 years of experience in multiple design and management arenas that contribute to our leadership team here at the Punctuate4. She owns an architecture and branding design firm which focuses on retail store, restaurant, and residential design around the country and partners with firms internationally. With degrees in architecture, graphic, and interior design, Stramer's creativity can be seen, not only in the work she does with her own company but in set, costume and graphic design for several theater companies including: The Boston Center for the Arts, Footlight Club, Arts After Hours, Longwood Players, Lexington Players, Stage284 and Theater for the New City and The Culture Project in New York City. She has always preferred to work behind the scenes, lending her insights and work ethic to all the essentials producing theatrical shows in New York and in the greater Boston area. Stramer was a Founder of Stage284 and served on the Board of the Community House of Hamilton for 10 years before co-founding Punctuate4. She studied at Rhode Island School of Design and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Boston Architectural College and a Graphic Design Degree from Massachusetts College of Art.
